  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Working Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:00-16:00
  • Start Date: ASAP

My client is seeking an HR Administrator to provide effective and efficient clerical, welfare, and HR administrative support to our assigned schools. This role requires a high level of confidentiality, flexibility, and the ability to work well as part of a team.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Liaise with agencies for recruitment, including setting up interviews and requesting candidate information.
  • Prepare induction packs, new starter HR files, and ensure all safeguarding checks including DBS are in place.
  • Enter details into the payroll system for new starters and assist with monthly payroll information.
  • Maintain HR files to ensure compliance with OFSTED/Safeguarding requirements.
  • Update staff information on systems such as Bromcom and Edupay.
  • Prepare contracts, offer letters, and starter packs for staff.
  • Provide references for former staff and maintain up-to-date staff contact information.
  • Organise probation and leavers paperwork, and coordinate Data Subject requests.
  • Deal with ad hoc HR queries and meet with staff regarding various issues.
  • Engage in the school community, support its distinctive mission and ethos, and encourage others to do the same.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in HR administration, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Familiarity with recruitment processes and maintaining HR files.
  • Knowledge of payroll systems and HR databases such as Bromcom and Edupay.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information.
  • Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to personal development and the school’s ethos.
