MMP are seeking two Housekeepers on a full time and part time basis for a specialist hospital in Surrey.
The hourly rate for housekeeping staff 11.44
Hours 37.5 per week are either 7-3pm /8-4pm 5 days out of 7 (alternate weekends) for weekend work you will be paid time and a half.
They also have a part time vacancy for the same rate of pay - Monday & Friday plus one other day (22.5 hours) plus one weekend per month (Saturday and Sunday).
Responsibilities:
- Perform cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness in patient rooms, common areas, and administrative spaces.
- Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards.
- Handle laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold the hospital's high standards of cleanliness.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and chemical handling procedures.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
