Air Export Coordinator

This is a full-time role for an Air Export Coordinator to join our client who are located in Hayes. The Export Coordinator will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to export documentation, communication with customers, providing excellent customer service, and managing Air exports.

You will be expected to plan and organize customers shipments from start to finish, this will include arranging collection from customers, customs clearances, raising shipping documents, invoicing and MAWB finalizing.

The ideal candidate should also possess strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with others.

Job type: Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday - Shift rotation;

1. 08:00 - 16:30

• Ensure smooth running of the day-to-day operations
• Arranging collections and deliveries to airline
• Raising relevant shipping documents
• Handle GDP & DG shipments following company procedures
• Arranging bookings with airlines
• Customs clearances, start to finish knowledge of IPR's, Licensed entries (SIEL OIEL), Carnet customs procedures.
• Invoicing
• Finalising Consolidations
• Post Flight checks
  
• Any other reasonable task requested by management team

Requirements

• Previous experience within the freight forwarding industry
• Computer literate with basic knowledge of Excel, Word.
• Preferred but not essential: AS400, Lotus Notes and ASM Sequoia
• Good communication skills
• Be able to work accurately with good attention to detail.Be able to work as part of a fast paced team
• Effective communication with customers, other departments and other members of the team.
