We are seeking a passionate and capable General Manager to lead a busy, well-loved countryside pub & inn with strong local trade, seasonal menus and a welcoming community atmosphere.
Also open to Restaurant Managers or Assistant General Managers ready to step up into full GM responsibility.

Supportive ownership & autonomy in operations
Well-established guest base and local following
Hands-on leadership role with team development focus
Lead all daily operations of the pub & inn
Drive guest experience, atmosphere and consistency
Manage FOH teams, rota planning, onboarding & standards
Oversee bar, dining room and guest interaction
Handle stock control, ordering, budgeting & suppliers
Maintain operational compliance, hygiene & safety
Represent the venue as the face of service and community
Proven GM experience or RM / AGM with readiness and capability to confidently step up
Background in pubs, inns, dining-led pub restaurants or premium casual dining
Natural leader who builds a positive culture and coaches from the floor
Strong financial awareness, rota planning and guest relations
Ideally lives within commutable distance or has a car due to countryside location
Calm, personable, standards-led and community-minded
