This is an excellent opportunity to work as a Part Time HR Manager for an award-winning Food manufacturer on the Devon/Cornwall border. 聽The company employs c65 staff working within a fast paced, flexible environment that has significant growth plans.聽The successful HR manager will be responsible for ensuring that the company maintain the high standards of people management their employees deserve. You will be the main contact for employees and provide support to the Leadership Team. You will also be involved with the schedule of supplier and certification body audits, ensuring that they meet best practice for Human Rights and follow the ETI base code.


HR Officer聽Key responsibilities:
路Maintain the Company's HR Management and Employee Portal
路Working closely with Leadership to provide expert advice to ensure compliance with HR management legislation and best practice.
路Coach and support Line Managers on ER matters including performance, absence, disciplinary and grievance procedures.
路Review and improve existing HR policies.
路HR administration including starters, leavers and contract changes.
路Support Line Managers on recruitment activities to ensure best practice.
路Lead on change management initiatives including restructures and redundancies.
路Champion equality, diversity, and employee engagement
路Manage the Company's performance appraisal process.
路Monitor and report department and employee KPIs, including sickness, and staff retention.
路Work with Finance to ensure that payroll legislation is adhered to.
路Ensure staff training and development is up to date.

HR Officer聽Skills and experience:
An experienced generalist HR professional, ideally within the food production sector.
路CIPD qualified or equivalent experience.
路Expert knowledge of employment law and best practices.
路Previous experience in project management and driving HR initiatives.
路An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to build trust and influence key stakeholders.
路Ability to offer pragmatic and commercial advice, providing a proactive and flexible approach.
路Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
路High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
路Good IT skills, including MS Office and HR software.
