We are delighted to be partnered with our friendly, professional, large and established client as they seek to recruit a Store Manager to join their experienced team. This role is available due to strong company growth levels and continued expansion. Your time will be split 50/50 between the Haywards Heath and Horsham stores.
Store Manager (Haywards Heath and Horsham)
Full time permanent role - retail based
38 hour per week contract working across the week including Saturdays (Sat and Sun during peak season) on a team rosta basis.
Role based in Haywards and Horsham - 50/50 split. Horsham store has free parking available for staff. Haywards Heath store has free street parking available nearby.
Salary £27595 per annum plus excellent all round company benefits, including 28 days holiday, good pension scheme, wellness programmes, employee discounts, company events, cycle to work scheme etc

The role - Store Manager
This is a new role and an excellent opportunity for you to shape the role and make it your own. Your time will be spent across the Haywards Heath and Horsham stores equally.
Store Manager duties will include:
- Overseeing the management of two stores - Haywards Heath and Horsham
- You will be a key holder
- Driving sales and customer service
- Training and development of staff
- Supporting seasonal recruitment
- Inventory management
- Retail operations
- Assisting with merchandising and window displays
- Maintaining store standards and cleanliness
- Set specific targets to drive store sustainability strategies and targets
Experience, competencies and knowledge required:
Excellent business acumen
At least 1 year of retail management experience
Leadership ability
Proven customer focus
Good written and strong verbal communication skills
Able to handle a busy environment,
Team player
Good organisation and planning skills
