As a Finance Manager within a small charitable organisation, you really can make a difference to the lives of the people they serve.Our client is a small, well established charity serving the Calderdale, Kirklees and wider West Yorkshire region. They support some of the most vulnerable people in society and perform an invaluable service. They are part of a national network of charities across the UK and have been supporting people across the region for over 35 years. The role of Finance Manager is critical to ensuring the future of the organisation. The role supports the CEO and Board of Trustees in ensuring the effective financial and administrative management of the organisation and contributes to sustainable business growth.Key duties include:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Producing and presenting board reports.
  • Overseeing invoicing, debt management, payroll.
  • Budgeting and forecasting.
  • Cash forecasting.
  • Investment accounts
  • Asset register

Alongside the day-to-day duties of Finance Manager, you will also have the opportunity to work with the CEO on business development opportunities, contract pricing and negotiation, preparation of bids and funding applications and developing funding strategies.You will ideally be qualified or part-qualified with experience of managing a small finance team and in leading management accounting and year-end accounting processes.

  • Salary: £40-45k
  • Holiday 30 days plus bank holidays
  • On-site parking
  • Flexible working with the opportunity to work from home 1-2 days per week.
