Position: Field Service Engineer
Salary: £36,000 - £38,000 + Bonus
Location: Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire
Monday – Friday
Interaction is working with a nationwide plant hire company based in Huntingdon. Due to an expansion in the business my client is looking to take on multiple plant fitters to start immediately. This is a great opportunity to join a secure company that heavily invests in their teams.
The Role:
- Fault-finding and maintenance on a range of plant machinery from light machinery to heavy plant (Diggers, Dumpers, Excavators and more)
- Responsible for identifying and repairing any faults or damage to equipment
- Offering excellent customer service
- Accurately updating service records during real time
- Following health and safety to ensure a safer workplace
The Candidate:
- Proven experience working as a plant mechanic/fitter role with a relevant mechanical qualification or time served
- Sound and current knowledge of heavy plant machinery maintenance
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to work effectively under pressure
- A customer-focussed approach workload and committed team player
- A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential
