Key responsibilities of the Mechanical Design Engineer will include:

Produce Outline and Detailed Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation Designs, which are cost effective and meet the requirements of the client’s specifications
Production and checking of all design Specifications, Schedules, Drawings and Calculations
Ensure designs are completed in accordance with CDM Regulations
Ensure that standard designs and design practices are utilised wherever possible
Delivering the design stage outputs of each project within the agreed timescale and budget
Coordinating design outputs across all technical disciplines
Preparing monthly project status reports
Establish working relationships with construction staff and supply chain representatives to promote buildability and efficiency in design outputs

About The Mechanical Design Engineer:

Degree or an Equivalent Qualification
Chartered in a Construction Discipline as appropriate to grade
Experience in the Water Treatment Industry
Working knowledge of CDM and Construction Health & Safety
