FJA are working with a reputable and forward-thinking business, specialising in the Water and Wastewater Industry.  Mechanical Design Engineer role:  You will report directly to the Engineering Lead. Benefits:

Key responsibilities of the Mechanical Design Engineer will include:
  • Produce Outline and Detailed Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation Designs, which are cost effective and meet the requirements of the client’s specifications
  • Production and checking of all design Specifications, Schedules, Drawings and Calculations
  • Ensure designs are completed in accordance with CDM Regulations
  • Ensure that standard designs and design practices are utilised wherever possible
  • Delivering the design stage outputs of each project within the agreed timescale and budget
  • Coordinating design outputs across all technical disciplines
  • Preparing monthly project status reports
  • Establish working relationships with construction staff and supply chain representatives to promote buildability and efficiency in design outputs
About The Mechanical Design Engineer:
  • Degree or an Equivalent Qualification
  • Chartered in a Construction Discipline as appropriate to grade
  • Experience in the Water Treatment Industry
  • Working knowledge of CDM and Construction Health & Safety
