Are you an experienced SEN teacher or mainstream primary teacher with an interest in teaching in a specialist school.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to teach a KS3 class, the students are working at lower primary level and you would be teaching across the curriculum

The successful candidate will teach a range of subjects to SEN pupils. These pupils have additional complex learning needs and ASD, you will have additional TA support and 1-1 support staff, class size is small, students are keen to learn and the school is warm and welcoming place to work and has strong links in the community.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering engaging lessons to pupils
  • Supporting the additional needs of the pupils
  • Following lesson plans to ensure equal accessibility to learning
  • Keeping track of students progress

Requirements for this role are:

  • A DBS on the update service
  • A teaching qualification (NQTs welcome to apply)
  • Dedication to improving pupil's learning experience
  • Experience and understanding of special educational needs
