Reed Practice are pleased to be recruiting for qualified Accountant to join our clients’ audit and accountancy department as a Manager as part of their progression planning due to the impending retirement of a Partner.

Located in the heart of Suffolk, our client has been established for many decades – but excel in moving with the times - and offer expertise to an ever-expanding range of clients.The Manager will be responsible for servicing and developing clients, directing all assurance services delivered and supporting the Partners with the growth of the business and general practice management.

The technical tasks of the role will involve:• Preparation of client accounts• Prepare business tax computations, partnership, and personal tax returns.• Act as audit lead on major local audits.• Responsible for leading and directing all aspects of audit services delivered.• Responsible for maximising profitability from a portfolio of clients.

We are looking for an experienced candidate with sound practice and UK regulation knowledge who has:• ICAEW or ACCA qualified.• Post qualified experience within an accountancy firm• Experience of preparing company accounts across a broad range of sectors for companies, sole traders and partnerships• An understanding of payroll, VAT, corporate and personal tax• Experience of delivering audit and other assurance services to clients• Excellent working knowledge of UK GAAP and Financial Reporting requirements.
