Senior Finance Business Partner – Mainly Remote!£48,000 - £51,000Suffolk

Are you an experienced, qualified accountant or finance business partner with management experience, looking to work predominantly on a remote basis?

We are seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to manage a team of finance business partners and provide strategic financial management reporting to the Head of Finance. This role involves offering professional advice, guidance, and coaching to key stakeholders across the business.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Support on the annual Financial Planning process.
  • Advise budget holders on the budget process and support decision-making on budget allocations.
  • Forecasts and reforecasts.
  • Offer strategic financial advice to senior managers and director level stakeholders.
  • Complete statutory returns as required.
  • Lead the development of a proactive Business Partner model.
  • Develop the budgetary control framework to embed robust devolved budgetary control and self-service reporting.
  • Maintain regular dialogue with stakeholders, explaining complex financial regulations and principles, and arrange training as needed.
  • Evaluate complex technical financial options and make recommendations.
  • Liaise with Internal and External Audit.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA).
  • Experience in business partnering, strategic financial management and reporting.
  • Ability to provide comprehensive financial advice and support to senior management.
  • Proficiency in financial forecasting, variance analysis, and budgetary control.
  • Experience in developing and evaluating business cases.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial principles.
  • Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including audit teams.
