We are recruiting for Industrial Cleaners, Based out of Kettering, Burton Latimer, Working a 4 day week & providing great training and progression opportunities. In this role, You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our facilities. Industrial Cleaner - Role Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough cleaning of production equipment, machinery, and facilities in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Clean and maintain areas requiring access to confined spaces, ensuring proper ventilation and adherence to confined space entry protocols.
- Utilise specialised cleaning techniques and equipment for the removal of debris, grease, and other contaminants from hard-to-reach areas.
- Inspect and maintain cleaning equipment and tools to ensure they are in proper working condition and report any malfunctions or deficiencies to the supervisor.
- Handle and dispose of hazardous materials and waste according to established procedures and regulatory guidelines.
- Follow lockout/tagout procedures and other safety protocols when cleaning equipment to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Document cleaning activities, including areas cleaned, cleaning methods used, and any issues encountered, for record-keeping and compliance purposes.
- Participate in safety training programs and toolbox talks to stay updated on industry best practices and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to health, safety, and environmental compliance.
Industrial Cleaner – Experience & Attributes: - Previous experience in industrial cleaning or janitorial services preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their safe use advantageous
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
Note: Industrial cleaning in a production plant setting will involve exposure to various hazards such as chemicals, noise, heat, and confined spaces.
