Our client are looking for an experienced transport planner to join their busy transport team, in this role you will be using the vehicle planning software to ensure efficient & effective plans are created daily ensuring all jobs are planned and allocated for the following days plan.
The shifts avaialble are;
4 on 4 off 12 hour shifts NIGHTS
As a transport planner your duties will include;
- Complete efficient and effective routes for the following day/week
-
knowledge of road networks as vehicles can be out all week
- Managing customer/network orders and prioritisation based on customer requirements
- Help build runs for the general drivers
- Print and collate all driver’s paperwork
- Pre-assign required collections
The ideal candidate with have the following;
- Experience working in a transport operation and knowledge of the logistics industry
- Ability to be flexible
- Strong communicator and customer service skills
- Calm under pressure and good at problem solving
- A positive attitude to work
- Committed and dedicated to the role and providing the best possible service for the customer
Salary up to 35k
