Next Generation are pleased to have been appointed to recruit for a Production Engineer to work with a well-established engineering company based near Kingswinford. The Production Engineer will be responsible for processing and planning of orders for machined components.
Working hours for the Production Engineer:
- Monday – Thursday 8am – 4.30pm
- Friday - 14.30pm finish

Duties of the Production Engineer:
- Ability to understand customer requirements and specifications
- Ability to read dimensional standards and drawings
- Have an understanding of various types of steel, heat treatments, various forms of mechanical testing, non-destructive examinations and various types of coating systems
- Liaise with internal departments
- Liaise with subcontractors and customers
- Work according to quality assurance procedures as promulgated by the company
The successful candidate for the Production Engineers position will have the following experience:
- 3 – 5 years experience working as a Production Engineer (Essential)
- Experience working within a machining environment (Essential)
- Working within a Fasteners environment (Desirable)
- Working with ERP Systems (Essential)
