Assistant Management Accountant

We're seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Management Accountant to support our Accounting & Finance department in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about the not for profit sector and keen to make a difference.

Description

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process
• Conduct financial analysis and produce relevant reports
• Liaise with other departments to ensure accuracy of financial data
• Maintain the fixed asset register and process depreciation
• Assist in the annual audit process
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Support other ad hoc finance projects as required

Profile

A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and standards
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• A passion for the not for profit sector

Job Offer
