Harvey Nash have exclusively partnered with University of Leeds to recruit an IT Process Lead. This is a business-critical role which will be a key component of the IT Service Management team and prove pivotal in achieving the wider university strategy.

The university has set out an ambitious plan to enhance student education, research, and corporate systems through increased use of technology, data, and digital approaches as part of the new strategy.

As the IT Process Lead you will conduct a comprehensive review of how the university delivers, manages, shares and owns knowledge. You will then be tasked with producing gap analysis and defining best practices moving forwards.

This is an incredibly exciting role and unique opportunity for someone to drive significant, enterprise wide culture change and in doing so ensure that invaluable knowledge is readily available for all users across the university using cutting edge technology such as ServiceNow and AI Chatbots.

Experience of interest:

  • Experience maintaining knowledge management process;
  • Developing a short, medium and long term strategy encompassing knowledge management and the delivery of this;
  • Engaging key stakeholders to demonstrate the importance and value of robust knowledge management practices;
  • Experience with the setup, development, and maintenance of a Service Knowledge Platform such as ServiceNow, owning this process and the third-party relationship.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes such as Service Operation and Service Transition
  • Strong interpersonal skills, understanding how other business area functions and promoting new ways of working to foster long-term health and maturity of service.
