- Planning, design, execution, monitoring and controlling aspects of each project, ensuring that it is completed on time and to budget responsible for project delivery.
- Lead a project team, with authority and responsibility from the project board, to run the project on a day-to-day basis.
- Managing projects in line with PRINCE 2 methodology.
- Setting project budgets in conjunction with project sponsor and report on performance versus budget
- A strong track record in project and programme management including multiple project management
- Evidenced experience of project management of a successful IT implementation
- Ability to develop and nurture productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong decision making and time management skills
- A ‘can do’ proactive approach, ability to problem solve/generate new ideas/solutions quickly
- Ability to organise workload, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Awareness of own strengths and areas for personal development
- Values and beliefs aligned to those of the charity
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to the changing demands of the role and operating environment
- Commitment to continuous organisational improvements
- Current Driving Licence
- Project management qualification – PRINCE 2 / program management / six Sigma green or black belt / lean working
