This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong qualified accountant to join a fast-paced business as it continues to grow.

The Financial Accounting Manager will take responsibility for financial accounting for the group and will play a crucial role in managing the annual audit.   This role is also responsible for managing and mentoring a team member.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing year-end statutory accounts
  • Leading the annual audit
  •  Manage changes to legal entity structures
  • Providing technical accounting advice Handle technical accounting for buying or selling properties as needed.
  • Reconciliation: Balance sheet reconciliation and reviewing bank reconciliations.
  • Preparation and submission of VAT returns.
  • Prepare balance sheet and cash flow statements for inclusion in board packs, and generate balance sheet and cash flow reports for banking purposes.

To be successful in this role you will be a qualified accountant with financial accounting experience gained in a fast paced environment.  This role would be particularly suited to a practice-trained Chartered Accountant who has already gained experience in industry.  You'll also have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build cross-functional relationships.
