Are you a graduate and interested in a career in teaching or want to get more experience supporting children and learners with special educational needs in either a mainstream or specialist setting around the Leeds area?

Here at Veritas Education, we currently have multiple full time and part time SEN TA positions open in mainstream and SEN settings, ideal for post graduate students looking to further their experience in education who are prepping to go into a life of teaching!

Veritas Education work across the whole of the Leeds area, working alongside some amazing SEN based schools, supporting children with a variety of multiple and complex needs, including Autism, Down Syndrome, SEMH and PMLD.

Throughout the Leeds area, Veritas Education are working closely with various SILC based settings, SEMH provisions and mainstream schools too, where they support learners from early years age groups up to KS5 who have additional needs.

Across West Yorkshire, Head Teachers and senior leadership teams are looking more and more for eager and energetic University Graduates with a passion for teaching to become Teaching Assistants. This is an excellent way to enter the world of education, get a taste of teaching, familiarise yourself with school life and build a skill set that will help you greatly when it comes to applying for your PGCE course.

This will give you a key insight into the expectations and requirements that are to be an effective teacher in the future. Furthermore, this will allow you to experience a variety of schools and year groups which will help determine the PGCE course that is right for you and which year group you are most effective in.

Veritas can also provide specialist training to help support you in various SEN roles, including the Team Teach Positive Behaviour Management Level 2 Course!
