My client is seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. As the Financial Accountant, you will play a pivotal role as the Entity Controller, overseeing all aspects of financial reporting, compliance, and analysis. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:Financial Reporting and Analysis:Review monthly P&L and Balance Sheet, providing variance commentary.Monitor working capital and key financial performance indicators.Produce Balance Sheet review reports with explanations for variances.Ensure accurate calculation of monthly revenue and cost accruals.Compliance and Controls:Ensure compliance with accounting standards, SOX, and audit requirements.Review and approve Balance Sheet reconciliations and payment requests.Respond to GL account queries and escalate issues as necessary.Audit and Compliance:Lead internal and external audits, producing necessary disclosures and assisting with tax packages.Ensure adherence to SOX principles and procedures within the purchasing function.Budgeting and Forecasting:Produce annual budgets for the finance function.Generate Year on Year Plan/Forecast P&L and Balance Sheet variance analytics.

You will be/have:Fully qualified ACCA, ACMA, ACA, or CIMA.Previous experience in a similar role within a corporate environment.Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and other Microsoft applications.Ability to present detailed financial data comprehensively to Senior Management.Proficient in report writing with advanced analytical skills.Strong communicator with excellent attention to detail.Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and able to work under pressure.Team player with good planning and organisational skills.Proactive mindset, questioning the status quo.
