Fortis are working with a manufacturing client based in Leighton Buzzard to recruit a lead CNC machinist to join their team. You will be using oneCNC to do offline programming for CNC milling machines with Heidenhain controls, any experience with Fanuc controls would be an advantage.Â
As well as setting, operating and programming the lead CNC machinist will be mentoring junior members of the team by offering them support and advice.
Experience required
-CAD/CAM (OneCNC is preferable)
-Experience with Heidenhain controls
-Use of inspection tools
-Able to read engineering drawingsÂ
The company work on 3, 4 and 3+2 axis machines and work within a variety of industries and standard working is Monday to Friday.
