As an Art Teacher, you will inspire and motivate students, fostering a love for creativity and artistic expression. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in nurturing talent, developing skills, and contributing to a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging and creative art lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
- Student Engagement: Inspire students by fostering a love for art, encouraging creativity, and providing constructive feedback on their work.
- Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive learning environment, managing behavior effectively to ensure a conducive atmosphere for learning.
- Resource Management: Effectively utilize available resources, materials, and technology to enhance the teaching and learning experience.
- Assessment and Feedback: Conduct assessments, provide timely and constructive feedback to students, and maintain accurate records of their progress.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support the overall development of students and contribute to the school community.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience teaching art in the UK education system.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for fostering creativity in students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to promoting an inclusive and diverse learning environment.
