We are working with an exciting financial services business based in Liverpool city centre to recruit an Investment Operations Administrator.

Description

As Investment Operations Administrator, you will play a key in role in managing all aspects of investment administration, specifically around processing new business, ISA transfers, servicing requests, fee calculations and withdrawals. Daily duties consist of:

  • Ensuring the full investment administration lifecycle is delivered in accordance to company policy and procedure
  • Monitoring progress of new business through to completion, as well as receipt of funds and initial fees
  • Banking and allocation of client money, ensuring FCA guidelines are being met
  • Liaising with ceding ISA scheme providers to request ISA transfer monies
  • Processing investment/disinvestment instructions relating to new business, additional investments, reallocation and withdrawals
  • Carrying out all aspects of general investment and ISA administration
  • Competing fee and other complex calculations
  • Providing a timely, pro active and high quality services to clients at all times
  • Assisting with investigation of complex cases
  • Assisting with collating of information for regulatory reporting
  • Handling queries from clients, advisers and external service providers
  • Identifying risks and breaches
  • Processing complaints

Profile

For the Investment Operations Administrator role, we are happy to look at graduates with a relevant degree, candidates who have financial services administration experience, or candidates who are working in an investment/wealth management environment. Key skills include:

  • Ability to work on your own and be self-motivated
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and work to a high level of accuracy
  • Experience of relevant investment administration
  • Solid knowledge of investment processes and knowledge of ISAs ideally
  • Worked in a FCA regulated environment previously
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office packages
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise workloads
  • Strong team ethic
