Key Responsibilities:

As a Corporate Solicitor, you will:

  1. Client Engagement: Establish and maintain effective communication with clients to thoroughly understand their corporate legal needs and objectives.

  2. Transactional Work: Handle a variety of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, restructurings, and other corporate matters.

  3. Legal Expertise: Stay updated on the latest corporate laws, regulations, and industry trends, providing clients with well-informed legal advice.

  4. Due Diligence: Conduct comprehensive due diligence on corporate transactions, including reviewing legal documents, financial records, and compliance matters.

  5. Drafting and Review: Prepare and review complex corporate agreements, contracts, and documentation.

  6. Corporate Governance: Assist clients in managing corporate governance matters, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.

  7. Client Reporting: Maintain open and transparent communication with clients, providing regular updates on the progress of cases and addressing their concerns.

  8. Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with colleagues, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management and exceptional client service.

Qualifications:

Our ideal candidate will have:

  1. Qualified solicitor with a minimum of NQ-2 years of experience in corporate law.
  2. Valid licensure to practice in England and Wales.
  3. Deep knowledge of corporate law, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and contractual matters.
  4. Strong negotiation, communication, and client relationship management skills.
  5. Ability to independently manage corporate transactions and cases within deadlines.
  6. Exceptional research and analytical skills.
  7. An unwavering commitment to upholding the highest ethical and professional standards.
  8. Proficiency in relevant legal software and tools.
