At Tradewind Recruitment, we're seeking recent graduates interested in gaining valuable experience in SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) Schools. Our client schools, located in Liverpool and Sefton, are searching for dedicated Teaching Assistants to provide support to children with additional needs.
Responsibilities:
- Offer 1:1 or small group support to students.
- Collaborate closely with class teachers, fellow teaching assistants, SENCOs (Special Educational Needs Coordinators), and other professionals.
- Contribute to maintaining a positive learning environment and assist with behaviour management in both classroom and school-wide settings.
Requirements:
- A degree in an education-related field.
- Previous experience working with children is advantageous but not essential.
- Possession of an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check on the Update Service or a willingness to apply for one.
