We are currently seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager to join a leading national care organization based in Fort William. In this role, you will play a key role in supporting the Home Manager in the day-to-day operations of our nursing home, ensuring the highest standards of care for our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the Home Manager in the effective management of the nursing home, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
  • Lead and supervise care staff, providing guidance, support, and mentorship as required.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of care plans tailored to meet the individual needs of residents.
  • Ensure that medication management procedures are followed accurately and safely.
  • Coordinate and participate in staff training and development programs.
  • Assist with the recruitment and induction of new staff members.
  • Act as a point of contact for families, residents, and external agencies, providing support and assistance as needed.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a senior care role within a nursing home setting.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • A genuine passion for providing high-quality care for the elderly.
