City of London, something special is brewing a beautiful, independent speciality coffee shop is looking for a hands-on General Manager to lead this busy, much-loved neighbourhood hub.

  • Early finishes: 4:30pm weekdays, 5pm weekends

The Role:

  • Maintain a positive and productive work environment by promoting teamwork, communication, and a culture of excellence.
  • Lead a culture of continuous learning and development through regular feedback and performance appraisals.
  • Foster a customer-focused approach, ensuring visitors receive a memorableexperience.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner, ifrequired.
  • Manage all aspects of the coffee shop's operations, including staffing, inventory, and finances.
  • General day-to-day administration, including development of the rota, managing annual leave, payroll, etc.
  • Liaise with external companies and contractors such as H&S and HR consultants, the landlord and the council as appropriate.
  • Oversee day-to-day social media and collaborate with our marketing department.
