My client is a well established automotive company based in Central London who are looking for a temporary Assistant Accountant to join their team during a very busy period.
Description
- Responsible for all stages in the management accountant cycle
- Monthly reconciliations
- Day to day correspondence with suppliers and external stakeholders
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements
- Conduct thorough financial analysis and reporting
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities
- Collaborate with other teams within the Accounting & Finance department
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Identify and suggest improvements to financial processes
Profile
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
- 2 years+ of experience in a similar role
- A thorough understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in accounting software ideally Sage
- Intermediate excel skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Job Offer
- An hourly rate between £20-£22 per hour depending on experience
