Business Analyst
Salary: £60,000 - £90,000 + up to 10-15% Bonus + Excellent Benefits
Location: London (hybrid working)
My client is a rapidly growing international organisation offering a range of solutions to the global Professional Services sector. Although exceptionally successful, they continue to seek stretching organic growth within each business unit and also via potential additional complimentary services, typically through acquisition. Underpinning this strategy is a focus on being a 'smart user’ of tech adopting both buy and build strategies.
As the organisation has grown, each independent business unit’s processes have also evolved, which has created disparity. The appointed Business Analyst, with a strong background in business process transformation, will be responsible for analysing and improving existing business processes to drive efficiency and enhance productivity within the organisation, driving a 'do it once do it well’ mentality.
The Role
- Conduct thorough analysis of current business processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions for process transformation.
- Create detailed documentation of business processes and controls, including process maps, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
- Develop and implement strategies to streamline workflows and optimize business operations.
- Identify opportunities for process optimisation and automation.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of new processes and technologies.
- Initial project is to address differing client and supplier onboarding processes across the business with more projects that drive operation efficiencies in the pipeline.
The Person
- Strong background as a Business Analyst in business process transformation, likely from a 'complex’ environment.
- End-to-end 'ownership’ from requirements gathering to designing solutions for process transformation.
- Experience of working in a stand-alone mandate.
- Knowledge of Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and client/supplier onboarding process.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements to all stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ideally knowledge of process mapping, workflow design tools and Agile methodologies.
