An exciting role for candidates to combine market distribution, analytical and account management experience to join a leading international insurance firm. In this key role, you will have the opportunity for decision-making, career development and make a real impact, working in a highly collaborative team. You’ll have the flexibility to work on a hybrid basis, your team meets in London three times a week, Tuesday to Thursday.
Duties include
- Develop relationships with a large panel of insurers who provide a best-in-class proposition
- Manage relationships with key insurer partners
- Foster and maintain strong professional relationships
- Participate in a high degree of market interaction
- Analyse and understand the data & risk
- Data and MI analytical skills
- Identify new opportunities to maximise business
- Account manage insurer clients and n egotiate with insurers on schemes, products and manually transacted business
Key Skills and Experience
- Proven track record in the insurance sector, with a particular focus on placement and broking strategies
- Advanced/confident MS Excel and data analytical skills
- Experience to read data/IM reports
- Excellent communication, relationship management and negotiation skills
- Adept at managing complex insurer relationships
- Strategic thinker
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a dynamic team
- Experience in conducting requests for proposals and market reviews
- Ability to contribute to strategic broking initiatives
- Comfortable in a regional role, with travel
