Sous Chef - Flagship Opening in Central London£47,500

Youll support the Head Chef in running a fast-paced, quality-driven kitchen. Lead services, mentor junior chefs, and uphold standards of speed, flavour, and presentation across dine-in, delivery, and takeaway.
Key responsibilities- Run the pass during peak service; set pace and standards for the line
- Train, coach, and onboard junior chefs to house standards
- Oversee daily prep, station checks, and service readiness
- Maintain food quality, presentation, and portion control
- Manage stock counts, ordering, and waste reduction
- Ensure HACCP, allergen management, and EHO compliance
- Support rota planning, briefs/debriefs, and kitchen communication
- Proven experience in high-volume, quality-focused kitchens (CDP/Jnr Sous or above)
- Calm, organised, and reliable under pressure
- Confident leading the pass and developing others
- Strong communicator and true team player
- Passionate about sustainable sourcing and premium ingredients
- Right to work in the UK
- Availability for 48 hours/week, typically 11am11pm on a rota
- Immediate or short-notice start preferred
