A leading main contractor that specialises in a wide variety of new build projects is actively recruiting for a Site Engineer position, focusing on a residential development project in London.
The project in question is residential build in London. As an Externals Site Manager, you will report to Senior Site Managers to help oversee the construction process from conception to handover.
The Role:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned site, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to internal policies and procedures
- Coordinate and supervise site personnel, providing guidance, support, and coaching as needed
- Monitor site activities to maintain efficiency, quality, and safety standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any issues or areas for improvement
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as department heads and senior management, to align site operations with organizational goals
- Participate in meetings, providing updates on site operations, challenges, and opportunities
Required:
- 5+ years site management experience in the residential sector
- Previous experience working on a residential project is
- Experience managing external trades, especially facades
- Strong organisational skills and I.T. literacy
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid are essential, Temporary Works would be beneficial
