Project Manager for Main Contractor- Luxury Residential Sector
London-based Main Contractor with a focus on Prime and Super Prime residential projects for high net worth clients across central London are looking to appoint a DesignManager on a permanent basis.
With a head office in London, their projects typically span prime postcodes such as St John's Wood, Hampstead and Kensington. They are a financiallyrobust business with a turnover in excess of 100m.
The Role:
ProjectManager to be site based on a c. 15m project delivering 9 luxury apartments in St John's Wood.
The Project Manager will also be expected to conduct such duties as:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize project programs
- Identify and resolve problems before and during construction
- Ensure compliance with current regulations and efficient project execution
- Conduct regular meetings with site manager(s) to assess progress and monitor key risk areas
- Oversee all aspects of Health & Safety on assigned sites
- Work closely with the Procurement department to optimize material procurement
- Generate monthly client reports and undertake monthly valuations Experience
Requirements:
- Extensive UK-based experience in high-end residential construction
- Proficient in professional project management best practices (PRINCE2 or equivalent)
- Health & safety trained with a comprehensive understanding of CDM regulations
- Expert knowledge of contracts
