Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey with one of the UK's leading train operating companies, an award-winning train operator who services passenger fleets from London to Essex, serving over 20 stations across their region. Ganymede Solutions are partnering with our client to support the introduction of a Lead Performance Manager into the Planning & Performance team.

About the Role: As a Lead Performance Manager, you'll be at the helm, leading and mentoring a dedicated team of two performance planners, external & internal stakeholder relationships whilst being a key figure of the team to make informative & accurate decision making.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing and managing the day-to-day performance activity across the network for best practice purposes.
  • Undertake performance modelling to ensure targets are aligned with Network Rail and the Department for Transport as required by our National Rail Contract.
  • Develop the Joint Performance Strategy and work across the business to embed a performance culture across the network.
  • Complete annual RM3-P assessments across our business, using the results to drive improvement activity.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to produce and deliver performance improvement initiatives.
  • Manage internal PIMS processes, ensuring that best practice from across the industry is adopted.
  • Embed a joint working culture within TOC and Network Rail to deliver the best possible results across the Essex Thameside route.
  • Lead two direct reports, ensuring that training and coaching is delivered to meet business objectives.

The Successful Candidate/Requirements: The successful candidate will ideally hold planning & performance experience as a Lead Performance Manager or a role in a similar capacity with a background of working for a train operating company or alternatively a sector which holds transferrable skills under a regulated environment.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary circa £54,600.00 dependent on experience
