Job Description:

  • Transform data into insights, facilitating informed business decisions.
  • Execute end-to-end activities encompassing requirement analysis and design.
  • Develop robust analysis and reporting functionalities.
  • Continuously oversee performance and quality control plans to discern avenues for enhancement.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpret data, employing statistical techniques to analyse results and furnish regular reports.
  • Devise and deploy data collection systems and strategies to optimise statistical efficiency and data quality.
  • Source data from primary or secondary sources and maintain databases/data systems.
  • Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns within intricate data sets.
  • Refine and sanitise data, scrutinise computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to rectify code issues.
  • Collaborate closely with management to prioritise business and informational requisites.
  • Identify and define opportunities for process enhancement.
  • Generate monthly Risk-Based Verification reports for clients, overseeing the entire process from data management to report generation, portal upload, and client notification (on a rotational basis).
  • Manage and update the Troubled Families tracker for assigned clients as required.
  • Oversee day-to-day data load management activities for client allocations, including organisation management, user management, data sharing protocol management, end-to-end data file setup, data cleansing, data load testing (for all new files), and data matching correction activities.
  • Execute Troubled Families managed service duties for designated clients as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience as a data analyst or data engineer.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Azure
  • Proficiency in technical aspects such as data models, database design and development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
  • Extensive familiarity with reporting packages (e.g., Business Objects), databases (e.g., SQL), programming languages (e.g., XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks).
  • Knowledge of statistics and proficiency in statistical packages for analysing large datasets (e.g., Excel, SPSS, SAS).
  • Strong analytical skills, capable of collecting, organising, analysing, and disseminating substantial amounts of information with precision and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in queries, report writing, and presenting findings.

The company has an office presence in London but there is a high degree of remote working on offer. Ideally, you will be able to work in the London office once a week.
