Do you possess strong leadership skills and a drive to develop innovative care solutions? If so, we invite you to join our clients team based in Westminster, Kensington and Chelsea as a Live-In Care Manager. Our client is looking to expand their Live in Care services to customers and as such they are looking to recruit a Live in Care Manager to build and develop that provision and grow a substantial team to provide Live in Services to the community in London.This is a full time permanent role paying £36,000-£40,000. PLEASE NOTE WE ARE UNABLE TO ACCEPT OVERSEAS APPLICATIONS FOR THIS ROLE.  Responsibilities:1. Service Management:
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the live-in care service, ensuring high-quality, safe, and effective care within budgetary constraints.
  • Allocate resources efficiently and monitor performance to maintain service excellence.
  • Provide strong leadership to ensure clarity of roles and responsibilities among team members.
  • Innovate and expand service offerings to enhance support for live-in care customers.
2. Collaboration:
  • Work closely with Registered Managers and Care Development Lead to achieve positive outcomes for customers.
  • Foster partnerships with healthcare professionals to facilitate seamless transitions and continuity of care.
3. Duties: Provide High-Quality Service:
  • Advocate for customer rights and preferences, tailoring care plans to meet individual needs and goals including medication reviews and attendance in weekly meetings.
  • Conduct thorough assessments prior to service initiation, ensuring alignment with customer expectations.
  • Develop personalised care plans in collaboration with customers and their representatives, respecting dignity and privacy.
  • Maintain effective communication with customers, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver quality care.
  • Uphold confidentiality standards while sharing necessary information to safeguard customer interests.
Manage Safety and Quality:
  • Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and company policies for safe service delivery.
  • Lead the live-in care team to uphold quality standards and undergo continuous training and development.
  • Monitor health and safety, infection prevention, and control measures.
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting systems to support business operations.
  • Implement quality management systems and manage complaints and incidents effectively.
Lead and Manage Staff:
  • Recruit, induct, and train live-in care team members, providing ongoing support and supervision.
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels and adherence to company policies for absence, discipline, and grievance matters.
  • Conduct performance appraisals and provide guidance for staff development.
Promote the Business:
  • Represent the service positively in external meetings and establish community links.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance service visibility and growth.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives.
Role Specification:
  • Essential Criteria: Demonstrable experience in care management, strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, commitment to quality and safety standards.
  • Desirable Criteria: Experience in community engagement, marketing, or business development.
