Electrical Manager - NHS Trust
Location: London
Length: 3 months +
Hours: 37.5 hours a week, Mon - Fri
Rate: £28.71/h inclusive of holiday pay PAYE
Main responsibilities of the role:
- Assist the Operational Estates Manager in devising and developing the department’s operational estate’s plans. The plans will prioritise the maintenance, repair, refurbishment and upgrade of the Trust’s buildings, services, plant and relevant equipment
- Lead a team of qualified electricians
- Act as Authorised Person or Competent Person for Electrical Works
- Manage and actively take the lead with PPM maintenance contracts such as Fire Alarm Systems, Emergency Lighting, Fall Arrest and Security Systems
- Undertake and ensure routine condition surveys, statutory planned assessments and inspections are undertaken in a timely manner in line with agreed process
Essential requirements:
- You will hold relevant Electrical qualifications and have experience managing a team of electrical trades staff
- You will have had Electrical Safety training e.g. Safe isolation and Live working and ideally be Electrical AP trained
