Robertson Bell is thrilled to partner with a prestigious educational institution in their search for a permanent Senior Financial Analyst. This role is perfect for a seasoned analyst eager to expand their responsibilities by developing long-term financial plans for a £500 million property portfolio, leveraging their financial modelling expertise.

In this Senior Financial Analyst position, you will:

  • Take full responsibility for producing and maintaining the ten-year financial model, utilising newly integrated modelling software.
  • Oversee the development of investment appraisals for a large property portfolio and manage the assessment of sales, development, and refurbishment projects.
  • Act as Deputy Director of Business Planning during absences and peak periods, contributing to your career growth.
  • Collaborate closely with the Treasury Officer, who handles short-term cash flow, to support long-term financial planning.
  • Assist the Deputy Director of Business Planning with debt management by producing reports for banks and raising new debt when required.

Based in central London, this position offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement, requiring only two days per week in the office. The successful Senior Financial Analyst will:

  • Have proven experience in developing long-term financial plans spanning three years or more.
  • Be skilled in producing investment appraisals, preferably for properties, though experience with appraisals for alternative assets will also be considered.
  • Ideally, possess a background in the Housing or Education sectors; however, candidates eager to transition into these sectors are welcome.
  • Be capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
