Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a key liaison with investors and stakeholders, providing transparent and timely communication on financial performance, sustainability initiatives, and impact metrics.
  • Lead financial due diligence efforts for potential acquisitions and strategic partnerships, evaluating opportunities to expand our portfolio of sustainable energy assets and technologies.
  • Collaborate with project teams to optimise operational efficiency, streamline financial processes, and drive cost-saving initiatives while maintaining a focus on sustainability and decarbonisation.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, and ESG reporting requirements, fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning to support the project's growth and impact.
  • Drive special projects and strategic initiatives aimed at advancing decarbonisation and sustainability goals, including technology innovation, community engagement, and stakeholder partnerships.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Extensive experience in finance leadership roles within the energy sector, with a focus on sustainability, ESG investing, and decarbonisation initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of international energy markets, regulatory frameworks, and emerging trends in renewable energy, clean technologies, and carbon reduction strategies.
  • Proven track record of success in financial analysis, strategic planning, and capital deployment across private equity and infrastructure investments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage with investors, regulators, and industry partners on complex financial and sustainability matters.
  • Strategic thinker with a passion for sustainability and a commitment to driving positive environmental and social impact through financial innovation and responsible investing.

Remuneration:

  • Working hours 9am - 6pm.
  • Annual trip to abroad for the company's annual meeting.
  • Medical coverage (Including spouse and child under 18 years of age)
  • 28 days annual leave (Inclusive of bank holidays)
  • Negotiable salary from £250,000
