We are currently recruiting for an experienced person to provide high level Board Support to a well-known sports organisation on a permanent basis. Please note this role is based in central London and will require someone to be in the office four days per week.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who prides themselves equally on their organisational skills and their attention to detail.

Your role will be to work closely with the Chief of Staff to make sure that the calendar for Board and Exec meetings runs smoothly throughout the year.

You will be responsible for the operational delivery of all Shareholder's Meetings and the AGM and will include but not be limited to the below:

- Internal communications, briefs, presentations, and any materials required by the Chief Executive, Board and Executive team- Board Meetings, Shareholder's Meetings, Executive team meetings and cross-business events - Cross-business projects, including working with the People and Communications teams to support business wide initiatives - Actions tracker and management for Board and Shareholder's Meetings, working closely with Assistant Company Secretary, to ensure actions are followed up and delivered- Drafting correspondence for key stakeholders, Clubs, staff and scripts in preparation for meetings and events

This is an extremely important role for the business and very high-profile, internally and externally.

Suitable candidates for this role will have:

  • Demonstrable experience delivering high-quality written reports, correspondence, agendas and presentations for Board and Shareholder Meetings
  • Ability to work collaboratively under pressure and prioritise effectively with excellent organisational skills
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information and exercise discretion
  • Detail-oriented with ability to check reports/proof read for accuracy and grammar
  • High standard of presentation skills and champion company style, format in documents, presentations and other materials
  • Strong people management skills are preferable, with focus on supporting learning and development and facilitating high quality team delivery
