Description
- Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies
- Collaborate with suppliers and store management to ensure product availability
- Analyse sales and customer demand to predict future trends
- Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs
- Plan and implement promotional events to drive sales
- Prepare detailed reports on buying trends, customer requirements, and profits
- Develop seasonal merchandise plans in line with budget
- Optimise sales and gross margin by planning and controlling allocated budget
Profile
A successful Merchandiser should have:
- A degree in Business, Marketing or relevant field
- Experience working with jewellery (ideally) or within luxury brands
- Advanced Excel skills
- A strong understanding of retail operations and merchandising techniques
- Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations
