Personal Care Assistant

Confido Education seek a passionate, nurturing and proactive personal care professional with hoisting experience to support a student 1:1 with their complex care. The opportunity is based at the college meaning you will be working in a vibrant educational setting which is different from the traditional residential care setting.

Our client is the largest college trust in London overseeing a number of 'Outstanding’ settings who offer a wide range of vocational subjects and apprenticeships.

As an Personal Carer you will be:

· To offer professional personal care on a one to one basis to a student who has complex (PMLD) care needs

· Work professionally with the class teacher and the students learning support assistant

· Offer care with toilet breaks, feeding, suctioning etc

· Hoisting - As the student is wheel chair bound.

· Excellent communication skills, clear and concise and positive

This is a long term opportunity starting ASAP until July 2024 - PAID TRIALS AT THE COLLEGE ARE BEING HELD NEXT WEEK - WC 25/03/24
