    We’re on the lookout for a proactive and detail-driven Payroll & Absence Assistant to join our team in a hybrid role, working from the office two days a week (Monday and Wednesday), with the flexibility to work remotely the rest of the week.

    This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity for someone with strong admin skills, ideally with some payroll experience, and confident in Excel.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support payroll processing tasks, including data entry and updating records.

    • Maintain accurate tracking of staff absences including sickness, holidays, and other types of leave.

    • Use Excel to manage, track, and report on payroll and absence data (advanced Excel skills a plus).

    • Assist with general administrative duties across payroll and HR functions.

    • Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth flow of information and compliance with procedures.

    What We’re Looking For:

    • Solid administrative experience (payroll experience preferred but not essential).

    • Strong Excel skills—comfortable working with spreadsheets, formulas, and data sets.

    • High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.

    • Good communication and organizational skills.
