Senior Merchandiser

Zachary Daniels Buying and Merchandising Recruitment are delighted to be working with a rapidly growing retailer in the recruitment of a Senior Merchandiser. Our client is growing at a rate of knots and if you want something a bit different where you're more than just a number, this is the role for you! Overview of the RoleDue to continued growth our client is at a stage where they need the support of an additional Senior Merchandiser. This role will suit somebody who wants to put their own stamp on to something. It will suit somebody who is prepared to get their hands dirty, build reports, mine the data and then trade it successfully. There will also be strategic responsibilities so this role will need someone who has no ego and can do a full end to end merchandising job. The appeal should be that this client is well and truly going against the grain. They have had over five years of consistent growth and they are still growing but to continue this growth successfully they have acknowledged the need for a true merchandise planning function. The Ideal CandidateFor this Senior Merchandiser position you will have experience in the following:

• Core retail merchandise planning experience, preferably in both corporate and SME settings
• Working in a growing merchandise planning environment
• Building merchandise planning tools from scratch
• Working in a fast paced, trading environment
• Working with product coming from the Far East, Subcontinent and short lead.
