We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team.

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations and management of Origin Kensington restaurant. Working closely with the Restaurant Manager and F&B Operations Manager, you will assist in overseeing staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high-quality standards, and maximizing restaurant profitability.

This position will help bring to life our restaurant's concept where provenance is a produce driven modern British restaurant where seasonality is celebrated in comfort and style. Cooking is heartfelt, wholesome and we treat our beautiful ingredients with the respect and care that they deserve! From farm to fork!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and inventory management.
  • Supervise and train restaurant staff, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Provide leadership and support to the front-of-house and back-of-house teams, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging teamwork.
  • Monitor and maintain quality control measures to ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and service efficiency.
  • Assist in managing inventory levels, placing orders for supplies, and controlling food and beverage costs.
  • Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally, striving to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and achieve financial targets.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and hygienic restaurant environment.
