Arepa & Co is the leading Venezuelan Restaurant in London, and we are currently looking for an experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to help us grow the business and deliver a great restaurant experience.

Our Restaurant Assistant Manager is responsible for ensuring that:

  • Restaurant Operations are run smoothly and effectively at all times, strictly following all our procedures, standards and protocols.
  • Customer Service is delivered to our highest standards at all times and consistently with enthusiasm, passion and friendliness.
  • Profitability is high by driving sales, increasing covers, ensuring repeat business and creating an environment that drives sales
  • People are doing a great job in compliance with our standards and house rules as well as and given the best of themselves, being motivated and engaged with the business.
  • Stock, Paperwork and the Facilities are effectively managed within budget and to the expected performance levels

Successful applicants will:

  • Have at least two years of verifiable experience as Restaurant Manager in outlets with turnover of at least £20,000 per week.
  • Be commercially aware and have full understanding of what drives profitability in a restaurant and provide evidence of being successful at doing so.
  • Able to lead a team with confidence and authority and create a culture of high performance, passion and engagement.
  • Be able to share evidence of driving restaurant’s sales and outstanding service.
  • Be able to proactively manage the upkeep and maintenance of a full-service restaurant with anything from 40 to 100 covers.
  • Be fully hands-on and be prepared to work during our key services, mainly evening and weekends.
