Learning Support Assistant - SEND - Looking for September 2024 - Westminster

We are currently looking for Learning Support Assistants who are dedicated and passionate about supporting children in a school-based environment. We are looking for passionate and experienced individuals who are available to start work in the new academic year of September 2024. Our schools caters for children and young adults from 5-18 years old with varied SEND needs, such as Autism, SEMH, ADHD, Severe learning difficulties and Speech and language communication difficulties.

Your role as a Learning Support Assistant will be to support pupils on a 1:1 or group basis or in small groups with their learning development and care needs while at schools.

Job Responsibilities

  • Experience supporting young adults with learning difficulties and disabilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively
  • A valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new DBS.
  • Available Full time 5 days a week
