Are you a dedicated and compassionate teacher with a specialisation in Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH)? Are you passionate about creating inclusive learning environments where every student can thrive? If so, we want you to join our team!

We are currently seeking an experienced SEN Teacher with a SEMH specialism to inspire and support our students on their educational journey. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the individual needs of students with SEMH challenges.
  • Create a supportive and nurturing classroom environment that promotes positive behavior and emotional well-being.
  • Develop and implement personalized behaviour plans and interventions to support student progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to provide holistic support to students.
  • Utilise strategies such as Attention Autism and Team Teach to effectively manage and support students with diverse needs.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialisation in Special Education or SEMH (QTLS also accepted).
  • Proven experience working with students with SEMH needs in a classroom setting.
  • Experience with Attention Autism and Team Teach techniques is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of SEN provision and evidence-based interventions.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
