We are currently seeking an experienced SEN Teacher with a SEMH specialism to inspire and support our students on their educational journey. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with diverse learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the individual needs of students with SEMH challenges.
- Create a supportive and nurturing classroom environment that promotes positive behavior and emotional well-being.
- Develop and implement personalized behaviour plans and interventions to support student progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to provide holistic support to students.
- Utilise strategies such as Attention Autism and Team Teach to effectively manage and support students with diverse needs.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialisation in Special Education or SEMH (QTLS also accepted).
- Proven experience working with students with SEMH needs in a classroom setting.
- Experience with Attention Autism and Team Teach techniques is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of SEN provision and evidence-based interventions.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
