Lynx is working with leading technology company, which is seeking a talented Principal Hardware Engineer to drive the design and development of cutting-edge satellite communications payload architecture. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the rapidly evolving space industry while working with a dedicated and passionate team.
Responsibilities:
- Define and design next-generation payload computer product requirements and conduct meticulous trade-offs
- Design complex high-speed digital/analogue circuit boards for pre-production prototypes
- Procure and integrate evaluation modules and reference designs to complete proof-of-concept operations
- Collaborate closely with international satellite development teams across various disciplines
- Actively contribute to and lead the payload computer roadmap
- Prepare comprehensive documentation for design reviews and effectively communicate technical information to diverse audiences
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in electronics hardware design, including analysis, simulation, schematic capture, PCB layout, and testing
- Proven experience in leading the design and development of complex communications systems
- Design experience with complex microprocessor/DSP devices and on-board high-speed data buses
- Proficiency in circuit analysis using suitable simulation tools
- Hands-on problem-solving skills using test equipment
- Experience with the full V-Model design cycle, from requirement capture through to design verification
